SAMH 8th Annual Conference is postponed until further notice:

Dear participants, Lecturers and speakers of the SAMH 8th Annual Conference

Dear members & friends of SAMH

I am writing on behalf the Executive Committee of SAMH to inform you that we had an extraordinary meeting today to consider the impact of the corona virus pandemic on the forthcoming SAMH 8th Annual Conference 28-29 March 2020.

After much discussion and with regret and in view of difficulties and restrictions on travel of members to attend the Conference, we have unanimously agreed to postpone the 8th Conference which was to be held from 28-29 March 2020, in Istanbul, to postpone it to a future appropriate date.

We will closely follow developments in this issue and God willing, we will announce to you the new date in a timely manner.

We regret having to take this action when all preparations for the conference have been completed. We express our apologies to participants, members, Lecturers and speakers who have already made arrangements for travel to attend the conference.

We look forward to meeting you at the Conference and will inform you of its date with new notice.

The 8th Annual Scientific Conference: Psychosocial effects of the Syrian Crises : Mental Health of the Syrian Family:

In order to highlight the psychosocial effects of the Syrian crisis, the 8th Scientific Conference will be held in Istanbul from 28 to 29 March 2020, entitled "Mental Health of the Syrian Family".

We invite experts in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, social service, and other professionals to this conference ... giving them the opportunity to develop the practical and theoretical aspects regarding the latest developments of mental health and to help in building relationships and networking between workers in this field, which in turn gives educational and social scientific wealth.

We welcome your abstract submissions. Share your knowledge from around the world. Share a scientific research or presenting a workshop, or a poster, or a report or a lecture on the subject of the 8th conference. 1- Psychosocial obstacles facing the integration of the Syrian family in the hosting societies (Arabic countries, Turkey, Europe).
